Pre & Post natal Yoga classes

Great reasons to practice Prenatal Yoga during Pregnancy

Prenatal yoga is one of the best things that you can do for yourself, as well as your growing baby.

Develops stamina and strength, Balance, Relieves tension of lower back, hips, chest, upper back,

neck and shoulders, Calms the nervous system, Preparation for Labor, Connection with baby, Increases circulation, Breathwork practice.

This is a good too for labor during contractions.  If we are consciously breathing, our blood pressure and heart rate is regulated keeping us in parasympathetic/relaxation mode.  Calm mama equals calm baby.

Prenatal Yoga can be great for Pregnancy however always check with your doctor or midwife before starting a new activity such as Prenatal yoga to insure that they acitivty is appororiate for you.

Client Reviews

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed coming to your Wednesday night pre-natal yoga class. I'd never done yoga before and have and  now will continue to reap its benefits! I gave birth to our first baby boy, Zachary Jordan Wong, last Friday 20th of October. He arrived at 37 weeks and 5 days, weighing in at 7.7 pounds. It was a long labour at 18.5 hours, but what I never thought I would be able to do was use nothing other than a tens machine for my pain relief throughout it!! That and what I remembered from our classes, especially the mindfulness and breathing techniques. I hope to get back into yoga once we've all settled in. Hope your new classes are going well.

Kind regards,

Christine Wong
